Club Villain was a ticketed nighttime event hosted inside the Sunset Showcase building at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Led by Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog, the experience blended live entertainment, themed dining, and character encounters in a setting that felt part dance party, part cabaret, and part villainous soirée.
Guests were welcomed into a richly decorated lounge space with dramatic lighting, mystical décor, and a live DJ spinning a mix of pop and villain-inspired tracks. Facilier served as emcee, introducing musical numbers and inviting guests to mingle with a lineup of Disney’s most iconic villains, including Maleficent, Cruella de Vil, Queen of Hearts, and the Evil Queen. Each character had their own moment in the spotlight, complete with choreographed entrances and photo opportunities.
The event also featured a buffet of New Orleans-inspired cuisine, themed cocktails from the Potions Bar, and reserved seating for guests who booked in advance. Though Club Villain was originally scheduled to run through March 2016, it returned for a limited engagement during the Halloween season in 2017, with slightly higher ticket prices and similar entertainment offerings.
Despite strong fan interest, Club Villain did not become a permanent fixture. The Sunset Showcase space has since been used for other limited-run events and currently houses Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy.
