“It’s Tough to Be a Bug” was a 4D attraction located in the Discovery Island area of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The attraction first opened on April 22, 1998, as part of the park’s grand opening celebration.
The show features characters both on screen, as well as animatronics, from the 1998 Disney-Pixar film “A Bug’s Life.”
On September 9, 2023, Disney announced at D23 that “It’s Tough to Be a Bug” would be closing permanently for a new Zootopia attraction.
