Seabase Alpha was what many people refer to as the “Aquarium” of The Living Seas. While the Seacabs were still operating, Seabase Alpha was their ultimate destination. After the Seacabs closed in 2001 guests had the option to either watch the pre-show or board the Hyrdolators immediately to reach Seabase Alpha.
In 2006, Seabase Alpha underwent refurbishment into a new Nemo & Friends Theme.
