An opening day attraction in the left side of the ABC Theater, the Monster Sound Show introduced guests to the process of adding sound effects to television and film. Each show featured four guests that were selected to be Foley artists and help in adding sound effects to a short film.
In July of 1997 the format of the show was changed and the attraction renamed to “ABC Sound Studio” though many guests still remembered it as a single attraction. The concept was the same however sound effects were added to a cartoon in lieu of a live action clip.
The ABC Sound Studio closed in February of 1999 to make way for a similar show featuring Drew Carey named Sounds Dangerous.
