The Wildlife Tracking Station was a small interactive exhibit tucked inside Conservation Station, part of Rafiki’s Planet Watch at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Designed to highlight real-world conservation efforts, the station allowed guests to explore how scientists monitor animal movements in the wild using satellite tracking, radio collars, and GPS technology.

Guests could view simulated tracking maps, learn about migration patterns, and see how researchers use data to protect endangered species. The exhibit featured touchscreen interfaces and educational signage, often spotlighting animals from the park itself or conservation projects supported by Disney.

Though not a headline attraction, the Wildlife Tracking Station fit squarely into the park’s original mission of education through immersion. It quietly closed in 2018 during a broader renovation of Rafiki’s Planet Watch, which also saw the end of other exhibits like Song of the Rainforest. The space was later repurposed for animation drawing classes and seasonal meet-and-greets.
