Part of the interactive exhibit lineup inside the Wonders of Life pavilion, the Wonder Cycles were stationary bike machines connected to individual video screens. As guests pedaled, they moved through a virtual scenic course displayed in front of them. The experience included:
A visual simulation of forward motion through various landscapes
Real-time feedback on distance pedaled and speed
A focus on physical fitness and cardiovascular health, in line with the pavilion’s theme
The attraction was designed to be both educational and engaging, encouraging guests to explore wellness through activity. It operated alongside other exhibits like Cranium Command, Body Wars, and The Making of Me.
The Wonders of Life pavilion transitioned to seasonal operation in 2004 and closed permanently on January 1, 2007, with all attractions—including Wonder Cycles—ceasing operation. The pavilion later served as a Festival Center before being slated for the now-cancelled Play! Pavilion project.
