The Imagination! Pavilion opened on October 1, 1982, sponsored by Kodak until 2010. Its centerpiece attraction, Journey Into Imagination, debuted in March 1983, introducing guests to Dreamfinder and Figment. Over the years, the pavilion has seen multiple iterations of the ride, including Journey Into Your Imagination (1999–2001) and the current Journey Into Imagination with Figment (2002). Alongside the ride, the pavilion has hosted 3D films like Magic Journeys and Captain EO, as well as the ImageWorks interactive play area. Today, the glass pyramids and leaping fountains remain iconic symbols of EPCOT’s creativity and storytelling.
